Practice Ready Texas

You learned how to do therapy. Nobody taught you how to get paid for it.

Three separate one-hour sessions, every Saturday, on the business side of a Texas behavioral health practice — credentialing, supervision, and the software that runs it. The first one is Saturday 12 September. Come to one. Come to all three. It costs nothing either way.

Saturdays at 10, 1, and 3 — Central. First session Saturday 12 September.

  • Credentialing in TexasThe applications, field by field — you file them, I show you how.
    2 hr break
  • Supervision in TexasWho may supervise whom, and what the rules changed.

  • Running it in softwareScheduling, notes, and what happens to a claim.

Who this is for

If any of this sounds like your week, it was built for you.

Newly licensed

You finished supervision, you have the license in hand, and the next step is a wall of payer paperwork nobody covered in grad school.

Associates under supervision

You are billing under someone else's number and you want to understand the machine before it's your name on it.

Already in practice

You are seeing clients and doing the billing at night, and you suspect there is a less painful way to run this.

The three sessions

Three separate hours. Take the ones you need.

Each session stands on its own — same link, same Saturday, different hour. Nothing in the 1 PM assumes you were at the 10 AM. Pick the ones that match where you actually are, and we'll send you a link for each.

Associates — read this before you skip the 3 PM.You will never press these buttons. In Vadia, and in nearly every system you'll work in, claims and reports belong to the owner or the biller — your login won't show them, on purpose. This is the hour where you find out what happens to your note after you sign it: which of your sentences become the medical-necessity argument a payer reads, why the code chosen at intake decides whether the session gets paid, and what a denial code means when it lands on work you did in October. Clinicians who understand that stop being the reason claims get rejected.

How it works

Register once. Show up in your pajamas.

  1. Step one

    Tell us which hours

Pick your sessions above and leave your name and email. It takes about a minute and there is nothing to pay.

  2. Step two

    Check your email

We send a Google Meet link right away. It is the same link every Saturday — save it once and you're set. The first session is Saturday 12 September.

  3. Step three

Come to the hours you picked

Cameras optional. Every session ends with live Q&A, and you can ask about your own situation by name.

  4. Step four

    Miss one? Come back

The same three sessions run again the following Saturday. Nothing is a one-time-only offer.

Who's teaching

Johnny Gonzalez

Founder, Vadia Health · Rio Grande Valley

I'm not a licensed therapist, I'm not an attorney, and I'm not a CPA. What I know is the business machinery underneath the clinical work — I built a behavioral health clinic here in the Valley and did the credentialing, the payer enrollment, and the billing myself, and then I built the software these clinics run on.

So this is not a lecture from a textbook. It's the walkthrough I wish someone had given me, including the parts where I got it wrong and it cost me months.

If you decide to use Vadia

Where are you right now?

Every free trial in this industry is 14 or 30 days, which tells you those trials were designed by people who have never waited on a Texas payer. These are sized to how long credentialing and payer enrollment actually take here.

Where your practice is right now

Attending is how you claim it. Come to a session, tell us where you're at, and we'll set your free months up with you — there's no checkout to rush through, and nothing starts billing on its own.

Attend any Saturday session and your free months are yours for the next twelve months — start whenever you're actually ready. Come back to another Saturday and the year starts over.

What's never free, at any tier

  • Vadia Claims
  • Claims add-on
  • Communications (voice & SMS)

These are metered — we get billed every time a claim goes out and every minute a call runs.

Questions

Before you register

Is it really free?
Yes — attending costs nothing. There's no card at registration and no invoice afterward. We run it because the people who attend are the people who eventually shop for practice software, and we would rather be the company that taught you how credentialing works than the company that bought an ad. If you never become a customer, you still keep everything you learned on a Saturday.
Do I get CE credit for this?
No. No continuing education credit is offered and these hours will not count toward your license renewal. Worth knowing generally: Texas does not pre-approve continuing education providers or courses at all (22 TAC § 681.140(i)) — providers self-certify against the rules — so nobody can truthfully claim a Texas board signed off on their training. This is practical business training, not CE.
Can I start before Saturday?
Register and I'll send you the credentialing session as a self-paced deck you can start right away, at your own speed, on your phone — 53 slides, a knowledge check at the end, and a certificate you can print for your own records (it is not continuing education credit). Coming to the live hour is still worth it for the Q&A, and working through the deck first means you arrive with better questions.
Will you do my credentialing for me?
No. I am not a credentialing service and I don't file applications on anyone's behalf. What I do is show you the process — which payers to approach, what each application actually asks for, the order the steps have to happen in, and where people lose months without realizing it. You do the filing, and you keep the knowledge for the next payer and the one after that. If you'd rather hand it to someone, I can point you toward that too — it just isn't what I sell.
Do I have to use Vadia?
No. The sessions are about how credentialing, supervision, and billing actually work in Texas — that knowledge is portable to any system you choose. We tell you up front that we make software, and the pitch is one slide, after the Q&A, at the end. You are welcome to leave before it.
Do I have to attend all three?
No, and most people don't. The three sessions are separate hours on separate topics — 10 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM, with real breaks in between. Take just the 1 PM and keep the rest of your Saturday. Nothing in one session assumes you attended another.
Is it in Spanish?
Sí. Sessions run in English and in Spanish. Tell us which you prefer when you register and we will send you the link for the right room. Puede hacer sus preguntas en español durante la sesión.
What if I miss one?
Come the following Saturday. The same three sessions run every week, so a missed hour is a one-week wait, not a lost opportunity. Your link keeps working.
What happens after I register?
You get an email within a few minutes with your Google Meet link and the times you picked. We send one short reminder before each Saturday you signed up for. That's the entire email program — we are not going to flood you.

Three hours exist this weekend that will tell you how credentialing works, what it takes to open, and where your notes go after you sign them. They cost nothing and you can take just one.
