What counts as a transaction
Your monthly plan pools all four of these. Whichever mix your practice runs, it draws on the same allowance:
- A claim sent to a payer — professional CMS-1500 (837P), filed electronically from a signed session.
- An eligibility & benefits check (270/271), each time you verify a patient's coverage.
- A claim status check (276/277), each time you ask a payer where a claim stands.
- An electronic remittance advice (835 ERA) returned by the payer when a claim is adjudicated.
Some payers require a short enrollment before they will accept electronic claims or send remittances. We handle that paperwork with you, and the enrollment itself is free.
Setup and onboarding are included
Three hours of onboarding in your first week, at no charge — we configure your system with you rather than handing you a login. We also export your current clients from whatever system you use today and import them into Vadia, free.
